Diana Dors Delahaye 175S is a true classic car and only 51 of this model were ever made, back in the days when curvy cars attracted curvy girls, or was it the other way round? Delahaye was a French firm and many car manufactures worldwide in this era allowed their designers to use their imagination when working on new models.
This was particularly evident in the late ’40’s through to the 1960’s and resulted in some becoming extremely valuable classics, as was this one which sold at auction for a whopping $3,300,000 in California August 2010. Delahaye’s flamboyant styling was said by many to be the most beautiful cars ever produced but they were unable to compete and ceased making cars in 1951.
