Known as Detroits Golden Years, the 1950’s and ’60’s saw America’s car production achieving high levels of success.
The race was on with all manufacturers aiming to be tops in styling, comfort, features and of course power. advertising too reached new heights as TV became universal in most homes throughout the country.
These were the days when cars were easy to maintain and fix, although safety technology was still sadly lacking.
This video is a collection of photos taken from the various manufacturers brochures and advertisements, sadly some great manufacturers have since faded from the scene and no longer exist.
